I had always been fascinated by history, and the Fauti Masjid had been on my radar for quite some time. On a crisp morning, I set out to uncover the stories hidden within its ancient stones. As I approached the site, the mosque’s weathered silhouette loomed against the horizon, a ghostly reminder of its former glory. The first thing that struck me was the sheer silence.
